The case study will consist of three sections, each designed to evaluate your capabilities in the areas mentioned above.

Task: We will provide you with simplified Baseload US financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) for a recent year. Analyze these statements and identify:

• Potential financial risks and opportunities considering the company's stage (growth-focused) and the unique challenges of the geothermal energy sector

Task: Baseload US is considering expanding its operations to a new state with high geothermal potential. We will provide a short overview of the Geothermal Energy Market.

• Develop a financial model using Excel (or a similar tool) to assess the feasibility of this expansion.
